How the Spirit of Life Charitable Foundation Awards Are Made
Review and Award Process
The Foundation's Trustee, The Fairfield National Bank, Fairfield, IL solicits applications from individual students each January. The Advisory Board for the foundation reviews applications and selects one each year for funding. Checks from the Foundation are made out to the student and are sent to the student's college as follows. The first check for 75% of the award will be sent at least one month before the study begins. The second check for the remaining 25% will be sent upon receipt and approval of the final report from the student. In each case the college forwards the check directly to the student. The scholarships are known as the Spirit of Life Charitable Foundation Scholarships.
Administration of Awards
